The book Palisades Park is historical fiction novel by Allen Brennert. This coming of age story revolves around Toni and her family that owned a french fry stand at the historical Palisades Amusement Park in Fort Lee, New Jersey in the 1930's. I chose an actual post card of the park as the cover art in order to convey the message of nostalgia.
The book The Grief of Others was about the hardships surrounding a family after the death of their baby. The blue and pink represents the death of a baby. The solid white cover represents a cold, blank, silent and sterile state of being.
